STACKRIDGE Stackridge UK 1ST PRESS MCA MDKS 8002
UK pink label first press with gatefold & poly-lined inner
Description:
An original UK first pressing of Stackridge, released in 1971 on the MCA label, catalogue number MDKS 8002.
A superb 1st press of this cult British progressive/folk classic, complete with its original gatefold sleeve and correct poly-lined inner.
This is a genuine first UK pressing on the pink/red MCA label arrow logo, manufactured by Decca. The labels show “Made in England – The Decca Record Co. Ltd.” confirming its first press status.
The gatefold sleeve remains vibrant and well preserved, with strong colour and a clean, fully legible spine. The inside spread is superb, with all text and imagery clear and intact.
The record is housed in its original UK poly-lined inner sleeve, correct for first press Decca-manufactured MCA copies.
A superb condition collectible original UK pressing, increasingly scarce in this condition.

The record is in NEAR MINT condition. Surfaces retain a deep glossy sheen without defects. A superb, well-kept example that plays perfectly. NEAR MINT.
The sleeve is fantastic NEAR MINT condition. Overall it remains sharp, clean and structurally strong. Bright clean surfaces, the spine is clearly readable, and the artwork presents beautifully. NEAR MINT!
The original poly-lined inner is also in fantastic condition. A very clean example without damage. NEAR MINT!
