ZEE commercials
Stan Freberg was not only a wonderful satirist and voice actor, he was also a game changer when it came to radio advertising. His comedy based commercials were a game changer, and reset the style for a generation.
This record from the late ‘50s is a sample of commercials that were run up for Zee Paper Products. It was sent out to grocery stores to demonstrate the type of commercials that were on the way for Zee’s new products. Stan’s got a long introduction about his style of copywriting, followed by six of the commercials. These discs are quite rare these days.
CONDITION: VG Not many marks to hear, but there is a slight warp along one edge. The record will play normally at 2.5 gm
