Description
For auction is "Stan Getz Plays," on Verve MG V-8133, MONO, DG, 1957. With Jimmy Rainey, Frank Isola, Duke Jordan, Bill Crow.
SOUND: VG+/NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, this record sounds great! Listening closely, you will hear some very soft tics here and there, but these are very minor, don't interfere in the least. An excellent listening experience!
VINYL: VG+
The vinyl still looks pretty clean and glossy. Under close examination, there are a few very faint scuffs either side, completely superficial. The deep-grooved, black/silver "trumpeter" labels are very nice, however each side has been marked (in pencil or black marker) with "#1, #2"
JACKET: VG/VG+
The top edge is split about five inches to the top right corner. All else is solid, good condition. The 4 corners have a little bit of rubbing or bumping, but not bad overall. The front cover is very nice and clean, with minimal, routine wear. The back is bright and clean, with a "promo" stamp, and a few marks in marker and pen.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
