Vintage 1988 STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION "Encounter At Farpoint" ORIGINAL TV SOUNDTRACK BY DENNIS McCARTHY
- TV soundtrack release from GNP Crescendo features the score to the Star Trek: The Next Generation two-hour premiere episode by Dennis McCarthy, who has written more music for the franchise than any other composer. Making frequent use of Alexander Courage’s iconic fanfare, he wrote over 40 minutes of music for Encounter at Farpoint.
- Features several unused cues, including McCarthy’s main title theme, which was replaced with Jerry Goldsmith’s theme from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, but was often used as the heroic theme for Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
- NEAR MINT pre-owned condition: vinyl is glossy without marks or scratches; inner sleeve is intact; LP cover has no noticeable defect. Please review photos for complete details.
