Our Grading

Because of our high inventory volume, most records are visually graded using the Goldmine grading standard recognized by Discogs.

Mint (M)

Vinyl: Brand new, flawless, unplayed, and usually still sealed in plastic.

Cover: Perfect with zero creases, folds, or defects.

Near Mint (NM or M-) or Excellent  (EX)

Vinyl: Nearly perfect. Shines like new with only minor scuffs or paper wisps from the inner sleeve that do not affect play.

Cover: Clean, crisp, and sharp with no ring wear, creases, or seam splits.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Vinyl: Shows light signs of use. May have slight scuffs or light scratches that cause faint pops or crackles during quiet parts, but the music overpowers them.

Cover: Slight corner wear, minor ring wear, or a very small split on a seam.

Very Good (VG)

Vinyl: Noticeable groove wear. Scratches are deeper, feelable by finger and cause continuous soft clicks or light surface noise, but it plays through without skipping.

Cover: Visible ring wear, split seams, or small writing/stickers on the jacket.

Good (G) / Good Plus (G+)

Vinyl: Plays through with possibility of skips, but heavy surface noise, pops, and crackles are constant and loud enough to overpower the music at times.

Cover: Heavy ring, or edge wear, major split seams, tape repairs, or heavy writing.

Fair (F) and Poor (P)

Vinyl: Heavily damaged. Expect deep scratches, constant skipping, warping, or parts that will not play at all.

Cover: Torn, water-damaged, heavily taped, or falling apart.
