Description

Up for sale is my personal, original copy of the 2-LP set from 1977 of the soundtrack for the first STAR WARS film, with the classic score by John Williams. This is 20th Century Records number 2T-541 (0898). The records are excellent to near mint and I can detect no scratches at all. The grooves are very shiny and the labels are super nice with no spindle marks. The discs are slightly dusty; I will leave it to the new owner to clean them as I currently do not have a proper record cleaning system. The records have been very carefully handled and were played on good quality equipment a few times back in the day.

The poster is unused and has been kept in the jacket since it was new. The original light blue inner sleeves are excellent, with one of them having an approx. 1 inch split in the bottom center. The two-sided insert with program details is excellent with a slight bend to one upper corner. The gatefold cover is about VG+. It is clean and intact with some corner and spine wear and light wear to the front cover in a couple of spots.

Please see the photos for details of the condition; this an important supplement to the written description.

From a no smoking environment. I will package this very securely for shipping in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer. The album will be shipped with the discs removed from the jacket and original inner sleeves and placed in a separate inner sleeves, to prevent splitting in the mail.

Sold “AS IS”. Please let me know if you have any questions. Many thanks for looking!
