Description
This is a fine US promo pressing copy of the debut LP by the British band Status Quo, released in 1968. The record features a late '60s psych-tinged pop rock sound -- epitomized by the huge hit, "Pictures of Matchstick Men," which closes the LP -- that's much different from their '70s releases. The jacket has light corner creasing and wear, light ring and seam wear, and a light sticker stain on the front cover (EX). There's a hype sticker on the front cover promoting "Matchstick Men." The disc has a few hairline scrapes and some scuffing/loss of glossiness, and plays with a light to occasionally moderate crackling hiss that’s only audible between tracks and in quieter passages (EX-). "DJ Copy/NOT FOR SALE" is printed on the record labels.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
