UPDATED DESCRIPTION:
STATUS QUO. PICTURES OF MATCHSTICK MEN. ADVANCE PROMOTION COPY. PYE 7N 17449.
From time to time I help a local hospice sell some of its donated records. I usually concentrate on the LPs as the donated singles tend to be run of the mill stuff. However, the hospice has just received a bunch of interesting singles and EPs from the sixties so I'm breaking with tradition and selling their singles on ebay. Normally I playgrade records on my Roksan turntable, but I'm too much of an audiophile snob to play singles on it - instead, I am grading them on a pretty decent Trio KD-1033 turntable hooked up to a Creek amp and Mordaunt Short MS20 speakers.
Played on that system this record grades Excellent overall. Side one has some minor background noise to the run-in groove, but this is not audible during the track. Side two has some minor background noise to the run-in groove and to the quiet intro of the track. The label has a green signature (TURNER S.R.) on both sides. Side one also has a crossed-out handwritten word just above 45RPM (see photo). Comes in blue pye records sleeve.
The UK postage cost is based on sending this record fully insured by Special Delivery - if it does not need the extra insurance that Special Delivery offers I will send 1st Class Recorded at a lower cost.
I ship overseas - please email for prices.
