Description
Staygold - 1st 7"
Released summer 2001 on Vancouver, BC's Anchor Records - The label run by CHAMPION Guitarist Aram Arslanian.
THIS IS ONE OF 8 TEST PRESSINGS OF THIS RECORD. Needless to say it is extremely rare.
Why "Bromosexual" on the test press covers? Inside joke. You'll have to ask Aram.
These 4 songs were recorded during the same recording session as the 4 tracks from the "Caught Up in the Moment" release on Indecision Records. They later went on to release their only full length album, "Pills And Advice" on Indecision before disappearing just as the world was beginning to take notice of great this band really was.
Revelation Records describes their sound as being like a mix between GOOD RIDDANCE and BANE, and you can throw a little later era TURNING POINT in their for good measure as well.
These guys were a great Straight Edge band - One of the best to come out of the Northwest - and here's a chance to get their first 7" which is now OUT OF PRINT. (Staygold also contributed one really great track to the "POWER OF TEN" comp. 7" on Excursion. That song, "The Letter", is exclusive to that record, but if you are a fan of these guys you should track down a copy because it is excellent. See my other auctions as I may have that record listed as well)
This record is in Excellent Condition.
