STEEL an SKIN - reggae is here again/Afro punk reggae.
Rare cosmic disco 12' dub reggae killer. Original UK pressing from 1979.
Very rare Uk only small run pressing. Originally made by the arts council of Great Britain for a film about the band. Recorded in abbey road.
This group consists of 11 members that blend music and drumming from Africa, West Indies and the UK. They originally ran workshops in the UK and were supported by many charities in the UK.
What they created back in 1979 reflected a unique array of styles that could only have been made at that time. An amazing cosmic reggae disco shocker that has some great dub effects. Really amazing.
On top of this , it is a rarer promo copy that was given out prior to the sleeved release at one of the bands workshops. This has a great press sheet that has photos and info about the band. All phone numbers and the itinerary of the workshop.
A great piece and a killer bunch of Afrocentric reggae pinky disco. What more could you want?
