STEELY DAN Aja Org 1977 1st Press 7 track LP in Awesome EX++/NrM Condition

Welcome to my listings.
To all overseas bidders Please read before bidding. I will not falsify any information when sending custom declarations ( So please do not message me and ask that I do so ). I will indicate the true value of any item that has been sold. Buyers are responsible for all Customs Duty/Import Charges in their own country. The responsibility is not mine. No exceptions will be made.
All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.

STEELY DAN Aja Rare and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original Classic 1977 UK First press 7-track LP on the yellow / orange 'target' label, a career highlight featuring the classics Peg & Deacon Blues, complete with lyric inner, gatefold picture sleeve. The whole album of course is one of the great masterpieces of the seventies and a firm favourite amongst audiophiles. Truley Archive quality no upgrade condition. ABCL5225

PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING

Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6's positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.

The LP was played through its entirety, surface noise was virtually non-existent even in-between tracks. There were no annoying skips, jumps of mis-tracking. While listening no track exhibited any sticking. There were no loud pops or any other defects heard. There was no noise distortion, while listening the music flowed with crystal clear clarity. If marking out of 10 then this is easily a 10 out of 10 playback. Absolutely amazing sound and quality.

Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise.

I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.

THE COVER: The semi glossy gatefold cover shows only very light minor wear to the top and bottom edges. The surface is virtually free from any major scuffing. The spine remains intact with no major wear except for very light minimal creasing, the text is clear, bold and legible. All 4 corners are free from any major wear with no creasing or age related rounding. The opening edge has no age related fethering or creasing. Otherwise there are no signs of any other forms of damage.. I have graded the cover conservatively in EXCELLENT++ condition,

but looks closer to NEAR MINT.

THE BACK COVER: The back mirrors the front in condition, there are no other signs of any damage which can be seen. I have graded the back cover in EXCELLENT++ condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: The illustrated lyric inner sleeve has been graded in EXECELLENT++ condition with no damage.

THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl LP still retains all of their original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are virtually no hairline marks to either side when held under a strong light. There are no scratches which can been seen or felt. I have graded this LP conservatively in NEAR MINT condition. Looks very close to MINT condition. Awesome quality plays MINT.

Awesome condition Archive LP.

Side 1 in NEAR MINT condition. Side 2 in NEAR MINT condition.

THE LABELS: The labels are in NEAR MINT condition and showing no spindle marks and wear around the central spindle hole.
