This is the rare Limited Edition OOP Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab version of Steely Dan's LP Katy Lied. p and © 1975 ABC records. MFSL 1-007.
"This is a high fidelity recording. Steely Dan uses a specially constructed 24-channel tape recorder, a "State-of-the-Art" 36-input computerized-mixdown console, and some very expensive German microphones. Individual microphone equalization is frowned upon. The sound created by musicians and singers is reproduced as faithfully as possible, and special care is taken to preserve the band-width and transient response of each performance."

This is a new, unopened, unplayed record still in original, unopened factory plastic wrapper with a plastic outer cover. It has been stored upright in a collection for years. The LP cover is in excellent condition. This rare record does not often emerge in brand new condition. This will be shipped in an LP mailer.
