STEELY DAN LP AJA This is a 1977 CANADIAN STEREO PRESSING on the ABC LABEL. 9022-1006. A very sexy copy, and it plays great. If I have to tell you about Aja, you can stop reading and just buy it now. It's as essential a record in the cannon of modern music as any. Along with their other albums, it seamlessly blended a jazz sensibility with a pop rock backbone and guitar licks. They are almost their own genre, and this LP plays seamlessly from start to end. It is one of those absolute perfect LPs. It plays like butter. This is a super cool copy out of Canada on yellow wax. It plays great, but has a couple moments of very slight background. I should emphasize very slight, as I always tend to mention the blemishes in my posts. It really plays great.
COVER VG+ Front cover has fantastic gloss. The photos do not do justice to this. This is kind of a textured gloss that is as sexy as the yellow wax. There's a soft indentation on the bottom righting along the top from the J to the sticker on the left. There's a 1/2" small mark bottom left, really no big deal.. The back cover is most gorgeous. It has a ballpoint pen size indentation that's less than 1/8". The seams and spine are gorgeous
VINYL VG++ Vinyl plays beautifully and sounds pristine. in a couple ( like 2) spots there's very minimal background sound. It's widely known how colored vinyl has more issues in this way than black vinyl, but we succumb to the pretty colors anyway....
OG INNER. VG+. With a soft cold on the Botton side, and slight toning, and a 3" bottom seam split.
