QUALCHE TEMA LUNGO
ORIGINAL ITALIAN 1st PRESS, KANSAS RECORDS (LDM K-17015) STEREO. Another rare release from my favorite composer ever, Stefano Torossi here with Giuliano Sorgini (aka RASKOVICH) and Paolo Renosto (aka LESIMAN). Music played by I Marc 4 probably, "Qualche tema lungo" is one of those rare albums from the Lupus/Leonardi catalogue that never comes up for sale and actually one of the very good one. The album opens with 4 variations of the splendid jazz bossa “Per lei” (compiled on METTI UNA BOSSA A CENA) and goes more funky on “Blues in tempo ternario” with Renosto swinging hammond, more obsessive jazz in “Iperteso”, more heavy psychedelic hammond jazz with killer drum break intro into “Woodstock” and “Media velocità”. Totally recommended! I have several Torossi albums for sale this week, please have a look!
