LA POLIZIA CHIEDE AIUTO / PANDORA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by STELVIO CIPRIANI. Original Italian pressing on the CINEVOX label (MDF 058), from 1974. Obscure giallo thriller lounge masterpiece by the cult soundtrack arranger. Another personal favourite ;) Stunning mood music from La Polizia Chiede Aiuto aka What Have They Done To Your Daughters aka The Police Want Help. Part of the seedy trilogy of taboo sex / teenage prostitution / school girls in peril exploitation films directed by Massimo Dallamano and Alberto Negrin (What Have They Done to Solange and the death by giant wooden d*ldo killing spree of Enigma Rosso aka Red Rings Of Fear are the other 2 films). The intoxicating LA POLIZIA CHIEDE AIUTO is an alternative version of the opening titles of the film with a beautiful Morricone-esque intro of haunting children's choir / obsessive strings and piano that soon bursts to life with funky hip hop beats / groovy Brazilian guitars / harpsichord and blaxploitation tinged horn stabs. Comped on Italia Violenta Volume 2. The PANDORA side is also superb. Mellow and lightly sleazy hippie lounge sounds with laidback flugelhorn / flute / electric piano - spinette and lots more strings. No full soundtrack or Library Lp exists on original vinyl, only this fabulous single. Striking picture sleeve artwork too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with a few hairlines / faint scuffs from storage. Some light surface noises. Superb production sound. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with a little creasing from storage. A touch of wear to front bottom right corner. Rare OST 45!!!
