Description
STEPHEN WRIGHT - Vision Of Jah / Visions Of Dubs (Reggae On Top ROT001) - 12" - 1993 Original pressing of this highly sought-after Reggae On Top 12" featuring Stephen Wright's awesome rootical masterpiece Vision Of Jah, which is accompanied by its dub and backed by a further three mighty dubs. HEAVY HEAVY steppas inna Shaka style. This soundman copy has seen some action on the musical frontline, but remains in decent shape. The vinyl retains a good / very good sheen with light and some lightish surface marks, fine, light hairlines, some light and lightish scratches and scuffs plus a couple of small, superficial patches of abrasion on the third track of the B-side - nothing too serious - see descriptions below. A-side: There is a small / smallish improving to very small amount of intermittent background surface noise (a little more again on the dub) with very small, small and some smallish pops and clicks plus a few moderate ones. In addition, there is a lightish, sharp lick of hiss on each rotation during the first thirty seconds. Grade - Vocal = VG improving to VG++, Dub = VG
B-side: On Track 1 there is a smallish amount of intermittent hissy background surface noise with very small, small and some smallish pops and clicks. On Tracks 2 and 3 there is a very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with very small, small and some smallish pops and clicks plus smallish and moderate ones through much of Track 2. Grade - Dub 1 = VG improving to VG/VG+, Dub 2 = VG-, Dub 3 = VG+/VG++
