Description
RARE, 1st US monophonic pressing, 1968, with foil/mirror sleeve and Mars Bonfire misprint (erroneously printed as "Bondfire" on cover and label), featuring "Born to be Wild."
NOTE: All those copies you see with the "Born To Be Wild" listed on the front are NOT first pressings.
-protective clear vinyl slip cover included free-
-VINYL (PLAY TESTED): flat / some surface noise, mostly audible on the outer rim and dead wax / a few light scuffs, smudges, tiny surface imperfections & other mild signs of handling and storage / borderline excellent; a good cleaning would minimize the noise and bring the grade up (I just dusted it with a dry brush)
-COVER: hole punched corner (a promo or a cut out) / a little surface, edge & corner wear made obvious on the front by the shiny surface which shows every scuff and scratch / no significant flaws like splits, stains or markings
INNER SLEEVE: original color Dunhill sleeve / clean / no splits
TRACK LIST
Desperation 5:35 The Pusher 5:43 A Girl I Knew 2:38 Take What You Need 3:28 The Ostrich 5:43
I acquired this used in the early 70s and it has been properly archived in climate-controlled storage ever since.
