This was RCA’s largest classical music collection during the Shaded Dog era. It includes some of RCA’s best classical records, with superb performances and sound. Some have been on The Absolute Sound’s Super Disc list of recommended LP records. A great vintage set.
All records have Shaded Dog labels. The ten records are in an attractive padded loose leaf binder which holds program notes and individual sleeves for each record. On the front of each sleeve is a reproduction of that album’s cover art.
Condition of the records: varies from Near Mint to just below Near Mint (VG++). Visual grading
Condition of the loose leaf binder and sleeves. Excellent.
--there are areas that have darkened,
--there are some creases
--a small tear in one of the sleeves and some small tears on the inside of the binder have been repaired .
But basically the binder, all sleeves, and the pages of program notes are in excellent condition.
The pressings vary from 3s to 25s.
