My Shipping Charges Do Include:

1). PACKAGING - A very small charge for the cost of packing material as this cost adds up. I pack professionally using sturdy cartons, bubble padded envelopes, ample quantities of foam peanuts, and/or bubble wrap to insure all items I ship arrive undamaged. Depending on the weight of the item, it will be surrounded with: a) clear plastic wrap and either preformed or a very thick layer of Styrofoam, b) clear plastic wrap with Styrofoam popcorn, c) or dense bubble-wrap on all sides. Most electronics will be double boxed because I want to insure your purchase arrives in the same condition as when I delivered it to the shipping carrier.

2). INSURANCE - Typically, I insure any large/heavy electronic item or any electronic item that has a value greater than $100.00 with FedEx. The usual cost for that insurance is rolled-into and included in the actual cost of shipping the bidder/buyer pays. I have not had a claim in almost 20 years of shipping with FedEx, and I try to pack everything, small to large completely protected.

If damage does occur, in order to file a timely claim, you and I (BOTH) will need photographs of the damaged package BEFORE it is opened - Absolutely No Exceptions Please.

You will also be required to provide photographs of the damaged item itself. No Exceptions Please.

I’ve made every effort to provide an accurate and comprehensive description of this item base on the manufacturer's data, real-time testing as possible given the required equipment, satisfactory operation of every function, any research from reliable on-line sources, and visual observation.

The photos are an important part of the description. I sell both new and used older items - expect the used items to show some evidence of wear and may have some flaws or defects. I try to give the best descriptions I can of anything I can visually detect, but it is possible some items may have unobservable or internal problems that I am not aware of.

I sell used, previously-owned items. They are not “new” unless I state it is “new” or “like new.” The items I sell are sold as described and pictured. Whenever an item is described with words and pictures to be in good, great, or excellent condition, that means a person must take into account its age, and if it is in good, great, or exceptional condition and non-the-less serviceable for its intended use or is it being sold for parts and repair because it has something wrong with it.

Many of the items I sell are “vintage,” which means, because of the age of the item, it may have had several owners. I do, to the best of my ability, research and describe each item as accurately as I can, and I make available as many photos as I can, or even provide additional pictures when requested prior to the end of the auction or listing term. However, it is ultimately up to the buyer to ask questions according to what you would like to know about any item.

While I usually do test items to insure they work, sometimes that testing cannot reveal defects caused by temperature changes, handling, and also might be beyond the ability of my test equipment. I do not always disassemble and item for inspection and cleaning. If there is something that is important for you to know please ask before bidding or buying. All items are generally sold as-is.

Because these items are vintage electronic devices, they are sold "as is" which includes any issues unknown by the seller that the item may, but not likely have upon further inspection or extensive testing and evaluation by the buyer. If whatever you buy arrives and it does not function fully, or as the item was intended, and because of its age, and because many materials become brittle and weak, they become vulnerable and can fail from only moderate package handling.

Be advised that most carriers will decline (or at least contest) damage claims for “vintage” items whether electronic, artifacts or otherwise.

As the Bidder or Buyer, you hereby acknowledge that no technical support will be provided for any item(s) unless otherwise stated in the actual listing description. As the bidder/buyer, you hereby further acknowledge that you have researched the item(s) to your satisfaction and that the item(s) will suit your needs. I do not guarantee compatibility or specific usage, so please make sure this is what you need/want before buying. I am not an expert regarding electronic equipment, so I can only guarantee that it works as described and has what is pictured. If specific parts, devices, software or expertise is required for use it is entirely the responsibility of the buyer.

I make every effort to treat others as I wish to be treated, and I do not offer refunds unless an item is grossly misrepresented, so my terms are quite simple:

1). "Buy It Now" and "Best Offer" (accepted) orders require immediate payment - no exceptions - the order will be canceled if not paid when purchased.

2). I will not be responsible for any compatibility issues. It is the responsibility of the buyer to do their own research and ensure the listed item/product is compatible with what they are purchasing it for. If a buyer has any questions concerning the item, please contact me prior to purchasing the item.

3). I Guarantee this item to match the description for the item listed...  There are no substitutions. My photos are part of the description I provide and are of the exact part or item you are buying. Some listings may not come with ancillary parts, attachments, accessories, or accoutrements required for the unit. If ‘it’ is not listed or shown in the accompanying photographs, ‘it’ does not come with the item listed.

4). Items that differ substantially from the text description and the photos, which are included as an important component of the description, may be returned at the buyer's expense, including insurance, for refund of BID or PURCHASE price ONLY.

5). Items that substantially match the text description and photos, but NOT the buyer's expectations, MAY NOT be returned. Returns will not be accepted due to "wrong item purchased" or "I changed my mind."

Once you receive your item, please inspect it carefully. IF THE PACKAGING IS DAMAGED TAKE PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGED PACKAGING BEFORE OPENING THE PACKAGE. Damage claims with the carrier may not be accepted without this documentation. If you find a condition or other aspect of this item contrary to my description or pictures, please contact me within 72 hours of receipt and I will make every effort to rectify your concern. If we cannot come to an amicable agreement, I may accept a return and refund your purchase price (see below for requirements for returns).

SHIPPING:

A very large percentage of the items I sell are shipped the same or next business day dependent on receipt of payment. Payment received items receive priority and are shipped the same day if the chosen carrier is open for business (Saturdays and Sundays are generally exceptions for FedEx and UPS).

Standard shipping options we provide are: FedEx Ground, USPS Priority, USPS Ground, USPS First Class, USPS Economy Shipping, and UPS Ground. (If this item is shipped FedEx to a Texas address, you may likely get your purchase the next day).

I only ship to PayPal confirmed addresses. I do not ship internationally or outside the Continental United States. Shipping may include tracking.

Insurance can be provided at a modest additional cost and is usually approximately $1.50 per $50.00 insured.

We reserve the right to use a shipping method/carrier different than the one listed to ensure a safe and quick delivery. If you would like an alternative shipper, please contact me for a quote.

DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS:

In case of damage or lost items as a result of shipping issues or damage caused by the carrier, the buyer/recipient of the item must make a claim with the shipping carrier. All items are shipped with care; with that said if you get a damaged item please contact me as fast as possible with pictures of the damage and box. This will improve and accelerate the process. Usually a refund can be made with 72 hours after receiving the damaged item.

RETURN POLICY:

Return of items under $100.00 (excluding shipping) will not be accepted (exceptions are listed in Paragraphs “d” through “f” below and as stated above).

a). I want you to be satisfied with your purchase and make every effort to ensure an accurate description and pictures (including defects) are included in this listing.

b). I go to great lengths to ensure the information provided in every listing is correct and in accordance reasonable research of the product, in combination with all pertinent information available online, or the published owner's manual, or personally known to me as the seller.

c). I will not be responsible for compatibility errors. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify product details from the manufacturer’s documentation available on-line and determine the suitability of the item for the intended buyer’s use (see compatibility issues #3 above).

d). If you feel the item you purchased was misrepresented by me you can obtain a full refund including shipping costs. To get a full refund, you must email me within 10 days of receiving your item outlining and explaining in sufficient detail why you believe I misrepresented an item. I’m reasonable to a point, and I’d really like to keep you buying from me, so I do tend to bend over backward now and then depending on the circumstances.

e). Returns DO require my approval and ALSO a Return Authorization Code (RMA), and the item must be returned to me before I can issue a refund. Please note: I record serial numbers and take high resolution photos of everything I ship to discourage fraud.

f). If you changed your mind and do not want the item you purchased and the cost is over $100.00, I can authorize you to return it for a refund of the cost of the item, not including out-bound and return shipping if you have a really legitimate and reasonable reason. Some items may incur a restocking fee of 20 percent.

g). I will not accept the return of an item when the condition of the item and/or retail packaging has been damaged, compromised, changed, modified or altered in any way. The item must be in the condition it arrived in, and anything that was included must also be returned. If the item is new, it must be in the original, unopened packaging.

h). If applicable, any security tags/tape must be in place and uncut. Please contact us if you have any questions and we will be sure to get back to you very quickly.

i). Refunds given for the purchase price only. No refunds on shipping costs except by mutual agreement. Typically, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and may be required to complete a “Mutual Agreement to Cancel the Transaction Form” required through eBay.

j). 10 Days: Authorized Returns will not be accepted beyond 10 days after the item has been delivered.

k). All of our items listed on eBay are guaranteed to be serviceable for the intended use, new or used good working order. No DOA (Dead on Arrival) items will be listed or sold unless specified in the item description which will clearly state "UNTESTED" or "NON-WORKING/FOR PARTS ONLY". All items are "SOLD AS IS" with the buyer’s complete understanding of the provided description of the item, and the careful inspection of the available photographs of the item. I sell a variety of USED PREVIOUSLY OWNED items and do not claim to be an expert in anyway.

l). Please no returns or refunds on electronic or electrical automotive equipment – I have no way to test it if returned.
