This is Vanguard’s tribute to the virtuosity of Mischa Elman, celebrating, as they put it, “50 years of violinistic triumph.”
Featured playing is of music by Massanet, Arensky, Schumann, Drigo, Sarasate, Dvorak, Chopin, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky, among others.
A “must have” for any student of violin, here in a jacket without major fault, record inside is a Gold Label (“stereolab” at 5 o’clock), which should play near mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
