"Folks who appreciate moody reflective artist like Phil McHugh, John Michael Talbot and Bruce Cockburn should find a friend in the music of talented singer/songwriter Steve Beckham. Beginnings is a custom recording that features twelve of Beckham's compositions presented in a gentle, melodic piano-and-guitar folk style. 'Sometimes In Your Eyes', 'Good Friday' and the title track are all beautiful moving ballads, each with elegant violin accompaniment. 'Icarus' is another standout, brisk dreamy soaring 12-string backed by Arp synth and soft bongo percussion. 'King Of The Canyon', 'When God Comes Back', 'Water', 'Charlie's Epitaph' and 'Summer Boy' are some of the other song titles. Stirring vocals throughout. Not the same Bridge label as Wedgwood and all."

- M= A near perfect, probably unplayed record (Usually use this for sealed records).
- NM= Record appears new, At most, perhaps a light mark appears on the record. It should play without any noise or skips of any kind whatsoever.
- VG++= Record has some extremely light surface marks. These marks do not affect play. Very nice copy
- VG+= Record has noticeable marks, Light surface scratches and may play with some very light noise, but doesn't overpower the music, Still very enjoyable.
- VG= Record has noticeable marks and scratches, plays with noise
- G= Lots of ware, Noise and scratches more audible than music.
