Description

Steve Reich's tour de force percussion work, with his ensemble recorded by Deutsche Grammophon.   This is the 1974 DG release, and now a rare and sought-after collector item.  Discs are VG or better -- fine, clean appearance.  Box in like new condition, 3 LP discs plus booklet, clean and unmarked.  Steve Reich, performing along with Russ Hartenberger, Glen Velez, Joan La Barbara plus ensemble.  Includes "Six Pianos" and "Music for Mallet Instruments ..."  "Rhythmically and harmonically minimalist, yet epic in its proportions and impact."   A landmark album of American minimalist music composition and performance.  A great addition to any vinyl LP collection, contemporary American music, or minimalist style music collection.
