Description

  • Steve Winwood released his second solo album "Arc Of A Diver" in December 1980 on Island Records. It proved to be his breakthrough as a solo artist reaching No. 3 on the charts thanks to the hit single "While You See A Chance." It was recorded at his Netherturkdonic Studios on his farm in Gloucestershire. He wrote all the songs, played all the instruments and engineered the entire record by himself.

  • This is a rare Promo copy of (ILPS 9576) from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its gloss and is easily VG+ as is the two-sided Inner Lyrics Sleeve. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC and this copy was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Los Angeles. The Side One dead wax is etched ILPS-1-9576-LW2. 1 and stamped STERLING ? ? ?.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 41 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
