This is the album that blew away the Eagles and led them to include Seven Bridges Road on their 1980 live album. Except for his composition "Seven Bridges Road" (Eagles, Rita Coolidge, et al) Steve Young's music has defied popularity, possibly by its unique blend of influences defying categorization. If terms like "roots", "alternative" or Americana existed when this recording was originally released, perhaps we would all be humming his tunes. In the notes to the combined re-issue of RCA recordings "No Place to Fall" and "Renegade Picker" his praises are sung by no less than Townes Van Zandt, Waylon Jennings and Lucinda Williams. I have been buying on eBay now for many years and have over a thousand positive feedbacks. These are the first of very many items that i now want to sell. There is a reason why i have opened a new account with eBay to sell rather than use my existing account. I have in the last 6 months or so returned to my Christian belief. I want to follow what is scriptual in disposing of what, quite honestly, has been a bit of a millstone around my neck. One day i looked around at all the many thousand items that filled two rooms and came to a dawning realisation that i had no idea what 90% of all this stuff was. I mean, i could go and buy something, play it once, log it, and that was the last i ever saw of it. So, this has handed me a golden opportunity to turn around this situation into something positive. I'm not going to 'Bible bash' or 'rant and rave', I simply want you to understand my reasoning. With this in mind, i will leave it up to you to look up 2 sets of verses, if you want to. Matthew chapter 6 verses 1-4 explains my anonymity whilst Matthew chapter 19 verses 16-21 gives my explanation for giving the lot to the Haiti Hospital Appeal.
