Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1966 first pressing including all the great highlight hits this band produced, many of which made the UK charts but went right over the heads of the USA listeners of the mid sixties ... One of which did hit the bullseye in the timeless DO WAH DIDDY DIDDY and was a nation wide success ...if you like that track, the tunes over both sides are just as dynamic and ultra catchy....

This rare 1966 album was devoted to Manfred Mann's British Invasion hits, Mann Made Hits was one of the great beat-rock albums of its era and has held up really well. Mann Made Hits opens up with the cheerful, infectious Mod poprocker "Pretty Flamingo" and quickly branches into the group's more R&B-focused work ("On No, Not My Baby," "Come Tomorrow,"), their bluesier sides, their folk-rock output and their harder side without missing their biggest beatrock hits ("Do Wah Diddy Diddy," "Sha La La," "5-4-3-2-1").

Beatlemania conquered America in 1964. It was also the year of the Kinks’ “You Really Got Me”, the Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun”, “Glad All Over” by the Dave Clark Five, and the Rolling Stones’ “Tell Me.” The blues-rock sound of these legendary bands may have dominated the airwaves that year, but they had to make room for Manfred Mann, a London-based five-piece that rocketed to the top of the British and American charts with “Do Wah Diddy Diddy.”
