Description
This lot is for three (3) albums from STING - two (2) solo albums (one a double album),and one (1) classic POLICE album, as well as the 45 for “Every Breath You Take / Murder By Numbers”:
1. NOTHING LIKE THE SUN (1987): VG+ cover, VG+ vinyl. Cover is in excellent condition - very clean with minimal nicks and creases, no bends. Slight ringwear - but minor, especially considering it’s a double-album and isn’t a gatefold. Original liner notes are in pristine condition, as are vinyl albums, which are extremely strong VG+ visually, and play clean.
2. THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES (1985): VG cover, VG+ vinyl. Cover is very clean, with slight creases and minor ringwear. There is a cutout in the upper right. Back cover is also clean, with ringwear and a crease in the upper right top. Original liner insert looks like it may have had coffee spilled on it, but was cleaned before it could do extreme damage (see top center in both pics of liner notes). Original sleeve is in excellent condition - no splits, rips or tears, only creases where the album sits. Vinyl is very, very clean and glossy. Overall, this is a great, fully intact copy of this incredible solo album.
3. SYNCHRONICITY (1980): VG+ cover, VG+ vinyl. I’m not sure which of the countless cover variations this is, but placed the album in the forefront of the photo, so it should be easy to check... Cover looks bold with strong gloss, but does have a few dings, creases and corner bumps. Original sleeve shows some discoloration because of age, but is in otherwise great shape. Vinyl is fantastic with no marks. An overall excellent album!
4. “Every Breath You Take” / “Murder By Numbers” 45 rpm single (1980): VG+ vinyl.
Please examine pictures closely, as they are of the actual albums being sold and offer the best indication of the album, cover and sleeve conditions. These albums are from my personal collection and have all been upgraded to shrink-wrapped copies. Grades are my best estimate of Goldmine grading, but are just intended as a guide. When in doubt, I always grade lower.
Shipping will be safe and secure, via USPS Media Mail in an LP mailer, with tracking. I do not remove albums and sleeves from covers for shipping unless requested - just let me know if you want them removed, it’s no problem.
