Phillip Goodhand-Tait & the Stormsville Shakers : I'm gonna put some hurt on you (IBC Sounds Recording Studios ACETATE 1965)

Here is a total one off and one for the serious British / Mod Beat collectors !! A true piece of musical history ! Phillip Goodhand-Tait & the Stormsville Shakers recorded a version of “I’m gonna Put some hurt on you”  at  .G. Jones studios, Morden that was released on Parlophone label in 1965. Then they recorded this other DIFFERENT version of the same tune at IBC recording Studios that was NEVER released. It’s a more soulful and absolutely great version with females backing vocals by a group called The Marionettes. This acetate was probably thrown out by a member of the band. Two of them  worked extensively in France in the 60s (one with Johnny Halliday). Needless to say that this recording is super rare and that will certainly be your only chance to find one !!!!!!! Thanks a lot to Heather at Stormsvilleshakers website for some precious infos on this awesome record !

Acetate is in excellent condition

It´s a must for every Mod / 60´s / Soul / Funk / Psych collection.
