’STORYVILLE’ JAZZ MAGAZINE COMPLETE RUN 162 ISSUES 1965-1995, SUPERB CONDITION!
Here’s a rare opportunity to acquire a complete run of the legendary and hugely important British Classic Jazz research magazine ’Storyville’ - all 162 issues from October 1965 to June 1995! Published bi-monthly, Storyville was the leading magazine devoted to Classic Jazz, with hundreds of important articles by world authorities, interviews with musicians, discographies, book and record reviews and lots more. Also included is a complete set of indices to the complete run. Complete runs are extremely hard to find, and this one is especially interesting as they are in fantastic condition and from a smoke free house.
We will be offering as a separate lot the four hardbound Storyville Annuals that cover the years 1996 to 2003.
SHIPPING: UK and USA shipping prices are quoted but European and international rates vary wildly, so request a quotation to your location.
Important information for Bidders!
If you win more than one item IGNORE eBay's automated invoice and wait for an invoice from us which will show the combined shipping total. I cannot make adjustments to postage if you pay eBay’s automated invoice!
SAVE ON POSTAGE - BUY MORE RECORDS! We always combine the shipping costs on multiple items to save you money! We can ship 6 10-inch 78 rpm records in the UK for the same price as one, and overseas savings can be substantial - for instance 10 records to the USA by FedEx Tracked service is just over $5 per disc!
We're also happy to hold items for a larger parcel provided they are paid for. You can combine your winnings with items from my regular Set Price and Auction sales at the Mark Berresford Rare Records website.
NOTE - ALL ITEMS WILL BE SENT BY TRACKED POSTAL SERVICE! CHEAPER RATES ARE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST BUT AT BUYER’S RISK IF PACKAGES ARE LOST/DAMAGED.
Do you like top quality pre-war Jazz, Blues, Ragtime, Hot Dance Band and European Jazz 78s? Then don’t miss our regular Auctions and Set Price Sales at the Mark Berresford Rare Records website. We also have 1000s of top quality 78s and associated ephemera in stock, and over 1000 78s to browse through at Matlock Antiques Centre in Derbyshire.
GRADING. The international standard VJM Record Grading Code is used for all 78s and LPs - for the definitive guide to grading 78s and LPs and how to use the VJM grading system, visit the Vintage Jazz Mart website. The condition of all our items is Guaranteed and all Photographs and Paper material are original prints, not modern reproductions unless clearly stated.
PACKING & SHIPPING. We ship Worldwide - Postage and Packing charged at cost. We professionally pack in custom-made heavy duty boxes - not a pizza box or one picked out of a supermarket trashpile - read our Feedback to see what real customers think about the quality of our packing! Multiple items are always combined, so the more you buy the cheaper the unit cost for shipping! We live in a remote rural community and only visit the Post Office once or twice a week, so parcels may take slightly longer to arrive.
We have been selling 78 rpm Records, Cylinders, Gramophones, Books, and other fragile items by post for over 45 years, with thousands of satisfied customers worldwide - see our Feedback and read what other customers say about our grading, packing, prompt shipping and service.
Payments to be made within 7 days of auction closing. I am happy to hold items for a larger parcel if they are paid for. Visit our store!〉© Mark Berresford Rare Records 1469 (GS 9.1 (1469))
