Description

This is a

very rare

Northern Soul

private label 45 record

by

Stratus

featuring

Girl  b/w Wild Woman

(Wyldwood Records 7032-34) (Stereo)

This ultra rare 45 comes from the tiny town of Rhinelander, Wisconsin (Pop. 6500) so obviously not many of these were produced.  It is commonly referred to as a "modern soul dancer" with great drumming and tight harmony vocals. A far more sophisticated sound than you would expect from small town Wisconsin.

***************

Both sides look almost new with no marks or needle scratches. The "Girl" side has a few almost invisible dust scratches that you can only see with an intense light. It has been play tested without issue.

Surprisingly good sound.

It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI-27 Typhoon record cleaning machine.

The photos are of the actual item for sale.
