'Keep Yer 'And On It'

Charisma, UK, 1975

CAS 1112

MAGICAL FIFTH and final release from this highly regarded and respected British progressive rock unit. Refining their sound, the band make for a far more focussed presentation concentrating on songs, performances and instrumental dexterity. In addition the lyrical content is significantly better lending an authorative air to proceedings, crafting what is, in effect, a minor heavier and harder rocking masterpiece.

A far more mature effort all round spearheaded by killer songs and Graham Smith's explorative and, at times, screaming, lead violin playing sitting atop some kick ass rhythm work and Kimberley Beacon's brilliantly evocative vocals.

Great copy by the way.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
