The shrink-wrap was only removed to allow for the autographs. 
The yellow vinyl was removed only once for photographs - and then immediately returned to dust jacket.
Please carefully review the photos as to the condition of the cover.
Please note the impression to the top edge of the cover and what appears to be light scratching to the outer and inner cover.
I can't tell if this is part of the cover or if it is an intended distressed look to the photographs. The album was shrink wrapped so it was probably intentional.
