Item specifics: This is a rare record from the 'Supraphon stereo' series. Famous for their stereophonic sound quality and their fantastic record sleeves. These were sold at premium prices from the late 1950's and have become both rare and valuable. The record is in great order, under normal sunlight it gleams and shines, under strong lamp light a couple of very light surface marks are visible, one of which is a super light hairline, this causes around twenty very light ticks, early on on side 1, and some almost impossible to hear thuds later in the piece, I must emphasise that this is not a major problem and I would imagine most collectors will not be too concerned. Thats the negatives, on the positive side, in the main the record plays superbly with rich sound and no surface rumble, it is a fabulous performance full of highs and lows, and brimming with emotion, really wonderful. Of course also highly sought after and valuable, please don't miss out!
Very light spindle wear. Sleeve is in super condition, it is lovely and crisp and clean, just as a collector would wish for. Overall this item would credit any collection. As I write this description, my spendor speakers are really showing how wonderful this record sounds!
As a rare item I will be expecting some interest and if the bidding rises above the £39 mark, insurance will be mandatory, but rest assured will be at cost price.
