Description
I'm Dave with Insta-Noise Records, the Noise part of the duo who released the coveted Work That We Do 45 in 1994.
Sometime during the pandemic, I found 16 original covers in storage, but no vinyl. So as a fun way to put these 16 covers to use, I collaborated with Prof. Pickles to do a 16 copy lathe cut for the 30th anniversary in 2024.
New records, old stock covers. Of course they sold out immediately at my shop on Record Store Day 2024 as an unofficial surprise.
Prof. Pickles made just a few test pressings (him, me). They were the standard 7" size.
The reason this one is unique and up for auction is because:
This copy and only this copy is a 12" test pressing with all three songs and a few calibration grooves and test pattern cuts.
You'll have an incredibly unique Sublime piece, truly one of a kind.
Why the auction? I do the CHOC Walk at the Park every year at Disneyland, a fundraiser for Children's Hospital of Orange County. Sublime has always been good to me, so rather than cashing in personally on this piece, I want to donate its proceeds to a positive cause.
All proceeds after Ebay fees will be donated to CHOC Walk. Postage is on you, but we'll send it a better way than sketchy Media Mail.
Prof. Pickles will be mailing it since we live miles apart. I'll have him add a little certificate of authenticity.
Purchase means you understand the sound quality of a true test pressing may show fluctuations in or lack of sound quality. This test pressing has been used for testing the playback of the audio, so you may note wear to the disc or marks on the surface. This adds to the character.
