A Bit of history for you i am originally from the same town as some of the guys in Mon amour and My pierot dolls, even went to the same school (still friends with one of them on facebook), the band i was in at the time 'mahu' even supported My pierot dolls at the rotherham arts centre, this copy of the album was given to me by andy from mon amour and i have had it ever since.

SUBTLE HINTS – 14 Electropop Trax from Undiscovered New Bands – Compilation vinyl LP release on Sane records from 1983 (SANE001 / X83CUS1764).

You are bidding for an original UK pressing of this seldom seen compilation of Electropop / Synth bands from 1983. The best way to describe the album and Sane Records is as the blurb from the sleeve states:

Sane Records debut album ‘Subtle Hints’ is a vibrant compilation of 14 Electropop Songs. The idea behind Sane is to give undiscovered bands a chance to be ‘on disc’ so that their music can be heard by people (like you!).

  VINYL: near mint, 1st track on side one has a few crackles but no jumps, rest of album is near mint, minimal surface noise if any, still has a nice glossy sheen, labels near mint, minimal spindle wear, hardly visible no writing clean
SLEEVE: Ex+ a few marks but no rips or splits, spine intact very minimal scuffing, a great copy of this classic gem. (see pics)   POSTAGE: (NOTE- If any items sold reach a high price, recorded delivery will be added at an extra 95p)- Courier/special delivery options can also be added to invoice for high price items requiring insurance, especially to worldwide locations.   UK 1st Class = £3.50 (ADD 95P FOR RECORDED DELIVERY) Multiple purchases add an additional 75p for each album

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
