Really great punk music from Minneapolis. Only 2000 records were pressed. It is the second and definitely best 7” release by the SUBURBS. This top produced US punk rarity was given 8/10 by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk)....and here’s the FLEX comment:

 

  • Great punk rock on side A, cool melodies & harmonies. B side isn’t as good, but still OK. [8]  
  • Die erste Seite ist ein richtiger Punk-Rock-Hit, tolle Melodien und Harmonien, schön satter Sound - super. Die B-Seite klingt etwas zerrissener und ist nicht ganz so gut wie WW III. Insgesamt sehr gut.

 

The starter goes by the title ‘World War III’ and includes raw vocals, topped with fantastic lyrics. You are bidding on the original first pressing, issued on ‘Twin Tone’ records in 1979 (catalogue number TTR 7909). That means this cracker was released on the same label as the first REPLACEMENTS single (I’m In Trouble). Don’t miss this stomper !!!

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen 7“ Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special 7“ record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).

 

Bezahlung / Payment: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal.
