Description
El Saturn 10480 (on labels : 12480-A / B, matrix # 10-4-80 A / B) – original copy from around 1981
LP is clean with only a few of the lightest paper-sleeve marks – looks barely played – there is little, only occasional and light surface crackle due to pressing, and very few isolated mild pops - overall, about as nice a copy as can be found – so in about EX+ to NM- condition. The light blue textured cover, with a track-sheet pasted (typical for this period) is still in its shrink and NM-.
On the side referred to as ‘One’ (on the track sheet) or ‘B’ on the label, there are two labels superimposed – the one below has an error : 2nd track identified as ‘Omniscience’ (which is the 2nd track on the other side) – this I never saw on other copies and it would indicate that this vinyl is from a first or very early batch / pressing.
This album is a solo piano live recording from one or two evenings in 1980. A relatively short, but very interesting album.
