Description
SUN RA AND HIS SOLAR ARKESTRA : Art Forms of Dimensions Tomorrow LP (Saturn/Thoth Intergalactic [USA] 9956/404) Mono/196?
Record is Near Mint (our highest grade for an opened record). Cover is Excellent with a couple of tiny stains at the bottom of the back. Cover is black and white with "LP No. 9956" catalog number and "Chicago 7" address (no zip code). Black Thoth mono labels have the 404 catalog number at the bottom plus "KH 98766" on side 1 and "CPLS 5421" on side 2 (these are also the matrix numbers). Labels have zip codes (60607) on the address at the bottom.
Mono black label Thoth pressing, probably from the late '60s or early '70s. This was originally issued on Saturn in 1965 as LP 9956 with black and blue print on the covers. Later pressings had either all black print or all blue print on the covers (not sure which came first) but all seem to have retained the original 9956 number, even when they contained later pressings. This copy has all black print with 9956 as the catalog number on the cover, but the second Saturn press catalog number (404) and matrix numbers ("KH 98766" / "CPLS 5421") on the labels. The online Saturn Web discography does not list a Thoth pressing of this LP.
