original El Saturn LP # 10480 (matrix : 12-4-80 B for 'Side One' / 10-4-80 A for 'Side Two', also has '91379A',  probably a mistake, on one of the labels) - ' private press '

This is one of Sun Ra's solo piano records, recorded in concert on october 4th 1980 (or october 4th and december 4th 1980).  It came out on Sun Ra's and the Arkestra's 'Philadelphia' Saturn label (even if a Chicago P.O. Box is mentioned on the labels) in 1981 and remains out of print in any format since. This is an original early pressing. There certainly weren't many - this is not one of the titles that has been repressed over many years. This is the last of the few solo piano LPs released during Sun Ra's lifetime (3 on Saturn, 2 on IAI) and his playing on this record is stellar.

The cover is plain blue, textured, with a track-sheet attached to it's front with tape. The cover itself is excellent to near mint condition, but the track-sheet has some creasing (see scan), so probaly VG+ to VG++ overall. The vinyl is very clean, looks as new, NM.  This copy's pressing is excellent by Saturn standards, but keep in mind that even an excellent Saturn pressing will play almost silently for much of the record but still have some (here very mild) surface noise in places. This copy has been handled with great care  - I played it a few times on a high-end turnatable.

I will package very carefully. Shipping is at cost which is : $6.25 (by air) to the US and $11.00 (by air) to most of the rest of the world, for Canada it would have to be determined, depending on the region. If you wish registration, it is recommended but quite expensive.
