SUNBEAM RECORDS

"SINCERELY BIX BEIDERBECKE"

This 2 volume set, originally issued in 1987, comprises of  20 x 12" vinyl

records featuring the entire output of the famed 1920s Jazz Cornetist / Pianist 

Bix Beiderbecke. Produced by Alan Roberts and John R.T. Davies, the set 

includes all of the recordings made with "The Wolverines",

"Jean Goldkette & His Orchestra", "Frankie Trumbauer & His Orchestra", 

"Bix & His Gang", "Paul Whiteman & His Orchestra" and other small 

group studio sessions.

In addition, volumes 19 and 20 feature recordings of other bands and musicians

firmly under the "Bix Beiderbecke Influence". Also included is the accompanying

146 page book written by Chip Deffaa which features a biography, all of the 

famous photographs and a full discography.

CONDITION

RECORDS are all EXCELLENT PLUS to NEAR MINT

OUTER BOXES and BOOK are EXCELLENT

The records are all in immaculate Near Mint condition, apart from the

B side of Record No. 3 which has a heavy graze across most of track 1

"Look At The World And Smile" (Take 3). This plays through perfectly well

with some occasional pops and clicks.

The boxes are in excellent condition with light to moderate smudges / 

finger marks on the front covers. 

Similarly, the book is in excellent condition with light to moderate

smudges / finger marks on the cover.
