Description
SUPER RARE original Alabama Rockabilly 45 by Marlon “Madman” Mitchell and The Rocketeers on the scarce Vena Records label from Madison, Alabama. Features “Ice Cold Baby” backed with “Bermuda Shorts.” Tough-to-find late-1950s Southern regional pressing with raw independent rockabilly sound highly sought after by collectors.
Original Vena pressings rarely surface and are considered desirable among collectors of obscure regional rockabilly and early independent rock & roll records.
Vinyl is visually graded G+ with visible surface wear and scratches from age and use. Despite the visual wear, the record retains a decent amount of original shine and presents nicely overall. Playback is strong for the grade with enjoyable sound on both sides. Some light background noise in places but NO skips during testing. Sound quality is better than the visual grade would normally suggest.
