MEGA RARE AUSSIE JAZZ FUNK LP ON EUREKA 1976
This record is a great funky jazz session full of long sparse passages and a funky edge that makes it sought after by collectors the world over. ‘Fall Down Dead’ is the stand-out cut, with it’s slow break-beat intro and sax line complimented perfectly by Judy’s rhythmic piano accompaniment. ‘The Eleven-Eight Song’ is a mini-suite of different jazz styles with some great little funky parts and some soloing. ‘Colour of My Dream’ is a modal jazz cut with some scat vocals.
