This is for a SUPER RARE album as they were called in there day, I got this when I was 12 years old in 1977 from my mom's Boss who owned the local ROCK station and the DJ was a very cool guy back in the day and knew I was a KISS FREAK, I mean I had all the Kiss scrap books, you could make,I bought every Cheap ass magazine just to ge THAT KISS picture for my scrapbook,well nowwith my first BABIES on the way, I must part with some stuff I have saved for that RAINY DAY, I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER OF THESE on Ebay,little Five Piont's(ATLANTA) or at my friends record shop and he told me this is a VERY RARE and NEVER SEEN ITEM, this was from 1976 when KISS was trying to BREAKOUT and there up coming album was DESTROYER, which HIT IT BIG for them, this PROMO has BETH which is KISS'S ONLY TOP 10 HIT, and one of there MOST FAMOUS hits of all time DETRIOT ROCK CITY, and the thing about this lp id it come out before these were HITS,on the center of the record label is there MOST FAMOUS POSTER the """SPIRIT OF '76"" which it come from this PROMO artwork,just think if this PROMO never come out thewre MOST FAMOUS poster would have never been, I have a VERY LARGE KISS COLLECTIOn as I have been in the KISS ARMY for over 31 years and STILL LOVE THEM TO THIS DAY, who doesn't need a little KISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Jun-14-07 at 14:26:41 PDT, seller added the following information:Well after taking this to a local dealer who only deals in Vinyl and reel to reel tapes(remember them,hours of music) HE WANTED TO BUY IT RIGHT THEN,but I informed him of what and where is was on ebay,he told me had HAD NEVER SEEN ONE OF THESE and it was a VERY RARE LP because of the formatting of the record,it was made to be distributed to both SOFT stations(pop,easy listening) and rock staions of the time(1976,remember what we had three stations,MAYBE) and that in was in the range of $150.00-$200.00 because of the RARITY and not be would even be around today and wanted to know how I come about it,so I told him the story and was amazed I held onto for all these years,KISS ARMY LIVES!!! So I thought this little tidbit MIGHT WANT TO BE KNOW to those bidding and wanted this REALLY SPECIAL RECORD,.......................................Chief
