HA-U.8120 on London label. 1963 The Crystals album "He's A Rebel". This fantastic and mega rare album is in superb excellent condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has literally hardly a mark. The only marks on the vinyl are an everso small amount of the very very slightest lightest hairline marks, the sort caused by removing the record from the sleeve. There is not one scratch or one mark that could be called a surface mark on the vinyl. The label shows few light spindle marks and has no damage to or around the spindle hole at all. The record plays as you would excpect, as near mint.Fabulous sound.
The laminated cover with flip over flaps. The front of the cover is superb. There are no rips, splitsor tears. Lovely spine and lovely opening edge. There is no freying along the opening edge. The spine edge has two very narrow strips where the laminate is beginning to lift, but this is really not bad. There are a handful of very small laminate creases along the edges, again, very slight.
The back of the cover has no damage, no damage to the flaps, no damage to the laminate that comes round the spine edge and lovely opening edge. Someone has at some point, wiped down the back cover with a damp cloth. This has removed any dirt and a slight layer of the paper. This really is not bad but on the top they have, in pen, drawn back some of the words "PR PHILLES RECORDS"..see picture. This really does not have any great affect bearing in mind how lovely the rest of the cover and record is.
Wonderful example of this fabulous and super rare album.
