This listing is for a Superb example of the very highly acclaimed MOTH RCM MK2 Record Cleaning Machine. I bought this as a kit 2 years ago from the excellent eBay seller, Stuart Michell (SRM- Tech) for £250, I then had a Carpenter friend constuct the plinth for me, in heavy 15mm Braced MDF, as per Moth's exact instructions, this cost a further £120, I then sprayed it with 2 coats of undercoat and 2 coats of Satin Black and fitted the internals. This is the latest and vastly superior MK2 version which offers bi-directional cleaning.

These are HUGELY well reviewed for the price and I concurr completely, unless you are using a decent WET machine with a powerful vacuum motor you will NOT remove all the gunge and crud, that builds up in the grooves, end of story. New records even benefit from a good clean with this as it removes any traces of Mould release agent and static. A good mate of mine who borrowed this for a while, went on to buy a £1500 VPI Cleaner and said that the only advantages his had over mine was that his was quieter and quicker! (To be fair, this is quite noisy, due to the super powerful suction motor!)

Consumables such as the suction pads, fluid etc are readilly available from MOTH or SRMTECH, here on ebay.
