Description

Superb selection of original professional reel-to-reel tapes consisting of:

 

8 x 10.5” spools of back treated TDK Master Recording Tape (AUDUA LB-3600) (eight spools altogether)

 

2 x 10.5” spools of SCOTCH ‘Classic’ tape (probably 2400)

 

1 x 7” spool of Superb MAXELL XLI back coated recording tape (1800)

 

1 x 7” spool of back treated TDK Master Recording Tape (AUDUA LB-1800)

 

All the tapes are in superb condition and have only been used once or twice.

 

Existing recordings include many BBC ‘Sounds of Jazz’ live recordings broadcast in stereo on FM (introduced by the late jazz presenter Peter Clayton), the 1,000th live edition of Top of the Pops (with Sir Jimmy Savile - obviously sound only!), Robbie Vincent (soul DJ) recordings from Stereo Radio 1. 

 

Also included is John Lennon’s interview with Andy Peebles and ‘In Concert’ recordings from BBC Radio 1.  The tapes were purchased from the local Technics/Panasonic Dealer, SEWARDS of Bracknell in 1979/1980 for my Revox B77 reel-to-reel.

 

They have been securely stored and are in excellent condition.

 

Total weight is 13.06 kg (including the larger box) and so collection from me is preferable.  Otherwise, postal cost (using Standard Parcels) is £11.21.  No charge for packing and no charge for Paypal.
