Description
Here is a SUPERB album from my collection offered up for sale: A 1971 album by The Rolling Stones "Hot Rocks" released by London Records 2PS-606/7 Stereo, this is an early pressing with no sticker on the cover, the way the artwork was intended to look before marketing added the large title sticker. Has been very well cared for inside and out! The deadwax has the acclaimed mastering stamp "STERLING", cool! (the date etching in deadwax on both discs reads 12.3.71). Great classic Stones music covering their hits from 1964 - 1971.
The records grade NEAR MINT/EX, are both super clean and super glossy, disc two is NEAR MINT, pristine, looks rarely played, disc one rates EX has only a couple small light marks, both discs have been very well cared for! Both play great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, clear sound and quiet in the quiet spots, minimal surface noise, a VERY enjoyable listen! The early press cover rates strong EX, is super clean, deep color with almost no ring wear, edges excellent, no splits, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, has only tiny bit of wear to edges corners, no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled. Has both of the original London inner sleeves, each sleeve has one center split neatly repaired with clear tape, excellent, look minimally handled. (see all photos).
