Description

" SUPERCAR ' FLIGHT OF FANCY' " (1961) - Music: BARRY GRAY & EDWIN ASTLEY PYE GOLDEN GUINEA record number GGL-0106. Vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition, and the cover is EXCELLENT to NEAR LIKE NEW. A superb collectable from the British TV series. "This record tells the story of an episode from the SUPERCAR series "Flight of Fancy". With the aid of a time machine, Jimmy Gibson and Dr. Beaker are able to relive an adventure from the past. "Flight Of Fancy", as its title suggests, is a dream adventure in which Jimmy GIbson is the hero. Character's appearing in Jimmy's dream take the form of permanent members of the SUPERCAR cast - King Rudolph bears an amazing resemblance to Professor Popkiss, and the evil plotting Marzak and Hertz to Masterspy and Zarin. To capture the excitement of the original film, excerpts from the film soundtrack have been used in the production of this record". Gerry Anderson produced. Story is by Gerry and Silvia Anderson. Supercar Song, Mike Mercury March and Incidental Music Composed, Conducted and Arranged by BARRY GRAY. Additional Incidental Music arranged and conducted by EDWIN ASTLEY. "Supercar Song" sung by THE MICHAEL SAMMES SINGERS. Voices heard include: DAVID GRAHAM, SYLVIA ANDERSON, GEORGE MURCELL and GRAYDON GOULD.
