Gotten hard to find, especially this clean = 50+ years old ...Of all the Beatles-related esoteric rarities, this 1968 soundtrack album is one of the choicest treasures...a freewheeling tapestry of music and sound...a pastiche-like head trip with a mind all its own.
An intrinsic slice of sixties psychedelics merging with Indian music via the Man who did as much as he could to turn people on to the genre. You can hear the beginnings of that great Beatles b-side "The Inner Light" on here. Historically placed around the time of the White Album and part of that immense creative current that flowed from the Beatles visit to India, it's a document worth having.
