Hiromasa Suzuki, a legendary composer and arranger, has been a vital figure in the Japanese music scene, contributing significantly to jazz, film, television, and commercials. Known for his innovative approach, Suzuki was deeply involved with influential artists like Terumasa Hino, Akira Ishikawa, and Jiro Inagaki during their most groundbreaking periods. His 1976 album High-Flying is a expertly crafted example to his forward-thinking creativity and remains a cornerstone of the WaJazz genre. Produced by Jiro Inagaki, High-Flying features a stellar lineup, including Shuichi Murakami on drums, Akira Okazawa on electric bass, and Masayoshi Takanaka on electric guitar.
