Description
Two rare early 1970s LPs by Swami Kriyananda, pressed by and for the Ananda Cooperative Village of Nevada City, California. The titles are O God Beautiful (Joy 305) and Meditations (Joy 306). The first record features meditative chants of Paramahansa Yogananda sung by Swami Kriyananda and members of the Co-op with tabla accompaniment; and the second features a guided spoken meditation by Swami Kriyananda. Both discs are in excellent condition and play pretty much perfectly. The cover of O God Beautiful is VG+ with only minor shelfwear, and the cover of Meditations is slightly more worn, with a partial seam split at the bottom edge in the center. But really not bad. Both are quite hard to find these days and are great relics from the glory days of the early California yoga and new-age scene. Beautiful copies.
